Charley Grae had an exciting day today. Cheryl, Donna, and Kim fixed pork loin over rice, twice baked potatoes, fancy green beans, peach dumplings, and rolls. Les, Deborah, and Erica delivered and treated Meals on Wheels with posters made by our Vacation Bible School. These ladies always have the best meals and goodie bags. Hamburger & Macaroni with fresh garden vegetables and chocolate cake with fruit. Judy and Reese came to deliver along with Kacie and Janice. We welcome our new volunteers!

Barb cooked a delicious meal. She and Jo had everything packed for Charles and Kacie to deliver. It takes a village and our village is blessed. Cheryl, Donna, and Kim fixed meatloaf, squash casserole, scalloped potatoes, cornbread, and Nothing Bundt Cakes. Bonnie, Charlie, and Josalyn delivered and said hi to our Meals on Wheels family. Praying for our community to keep safe and cool. Blessed to be a blessing Jo and Barb had some great help today with meals on wheels. Having youth and kiddos help is always a blessing. The Sparks’ clan made lunch for Meals on Wheels. Our fabulous drivers were Debra and Les Hill, and Bonnie Foreman and her sweet granddaughters.

Looks like these ladies are having a great time serving our community and our God. This is the day that the Lord has made. Another Mother’s Day Tribute. Cheryl, Donna and Kim cooked some of Polly’s favorites. Honey baked ham, sweet potatoes, broccoli & rice, rolls, and pecan pies. Mother enjoyed supporting our Meals on Wheels. Sharing fond memories and sending best wishes. Jo fixed the perfect meal: chicken salad, deviled eggs, tossed salad, cookies, and fruit. Erica and Deborah helped plate and deliver. This is the day that the Lord has made.

Jo and Barb fixed a a great meal and they had help plating and delivering. God continues to bless our Meals on Wheels community outreach. What happened to spring? Cheryl, Donna, and Kim fixed a spring lunch of homemade pimento cheese sandwiches, veggies, chips and Paula Dean’s banana pudding. Gay cooked chicken and spaghetti, pineapple cake, and fruit goodie bags. Special thanks to Melanie Compton Belcher at Faith Community Clinic for joining our delivery team, Deborah and Les. Erica does a great job coordinating our church’s Meals on Wheels outreach. Thursday is the best day. Meatloaf, cream potatoes , green beans, cornbread, and 5 cup salad. Meal Train for Pastor Carol
While the parsonage is being repaired, we have set up a Meal Train for Pastor Carol and her family. They are staying at the LaQuinta in Decatur while their home is being repaired. However, meal drop offs will be at the church. If you are able, please sign up to provide dinner on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday during the month of March. Sign Up Online
