Having just camped on the beach in Corpus Christi, I was awestruck by God’s creativity and beauty. Have you ever found a sand dollar on the beach? It looks like a large coin made out of a seashell with a starfish-like design on its front. The boys thought someone drew the design on the seashell until they learned that the white sand dollar used to be a living sea creature.
As the sun was going down and the tent was going up, the sky over the billowing white foaming waves was painted in hues of pink and orange. God is the ultimate artist!
Just like the beach, you are God’s masterpiece. You are a work of art, created in the image of God and designed with such care and beauty.
God knows every hair on your head, every freckle on your skin, every cell in your body. He knit you together in your mother’s womb — you are a masterpiece, and you are wonderfully and remarkably made.
What a wonderful reality it is that the God who created the beach and the mountains looked around and thought the world would be more beautiful by creating you.
